A Recipe and a Recommendation....

Last night for dinner we had some GOOD food. I am trying to get better at cooking, regularly! HA HA! Anyway, we had Jenny-O turkey burgers on the grill. They are in a box in the freezer section at Walmart. I just got the lean ones. They are individually packaged and so easy to just pull out. We ate ours bunless and it was YUMMO! We put a little garlic salt and pepper on top....oh my! With the burgers, we had baked fries, a green salad, & Roasted Asparagus. My mom told me to look for the skinny ones and these were perfect. I followed Tyler Florence's Roasted Asparagus Recipe, but truly it is so easy. You just cut the woody ends off...about an inch or so. Then you lay them flat on your baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and then season with salt and pepper......Bake in a 450 degree oven for 15 mins. Turn them in the middle of the cooking time. I think I ate about half of them! They were soooooo good!!! Try it and let me know what you think!

Thank you!! I have to go grocery shopping soon and I will definately buy those!!

I am the only one at my house who will eat asparagus...I will have to make them and then invite you over :) Sounds like a good excuse for a play date!! An odd snack...but it's healthy! I could just hear Clay's comments LOL.
